Talk:Using Brookfield’s Lenses to Improve Your Own Teaching

All of the training programmes we run have a "happy sheet" supplied to the participants. We do not tend to hand them out ant the end of each session although the happy sheet does refer to most of the sessions on the programme.

I think the idea of the stop, start, continue is something that I would probably try to use as it would be very useful in gauging the value of the session immediately. The main negatives of this type of early feedback is that it can be very demotivating for the trainer who may be preparing for the next session or probably for a days training with this group.

The other negative is time management. There is so little time in which to try to complete so many objectives that the sessions tend to be related to giving information, measuring achievement and moving tot he next topic.
