Section 4.7 Methods

These methods provide an opportunity to glean brief but incisive insights into aspects of the module/your teaching. Not only do they provide invaluable glimpses into students’ attitudes and suggestions for change or improvement, but they demonstrate your commitment to developing students’ learning experiences.

The methods in the diagram below should be conducted during term time and used as a source of formative data only. Several of the methods detailed are based on methods posted on Iowa State University’s teaching and learning webpage (http://www.celt.iastate.edu/teaching/cat.html).
