Section 4.6.4 Advantages and Disadvantages of Online Surveys

Online SET surveys have both advantages and disadvantages in relation to the more traditional paper based approach. Those listed below draw on several researchers, including Ballantyne, & Fowler (2001); Barkhi & Williams (2010); Brown, Baillie, & Fraser (2009); Cummings, Harris, Driscoll, Lewis, Matthews, Russell, & Cumming (2010); and Lalla & Ferrari (2011).

Advantages are denoted by green hexagons, disadvantages by red.
