Section 4.12 Methods
Section 4.12 Methods
Although the emphasis to date has been on feedback from students, data are available from other sources. Brookfield (1995; 2002) suggests four lenses that enable critical reflection on teaching: students; peers; self-reflection; and literature-based critique.
An introduction to these techniques can be found in the Gathering Feedback section of the UCD Teaching and Learning resources webpage.
